A small village in the thirties: Six friends want to experience the big adventure in their summer holidays. They organize a large exchange action, transform a bathtub for a raft travel or specify a play for the annual village celebration. One day granny Sünderlein hurts herself and can’t perform her daily housework anymore. Now holydays threaten to degenerate to work.
